5 Of The Most Common Grammar Mistakes On Social Media

We all make mistakes. However, some mistakes, especially those over social media, make you look completely stupid. What we're talking about here are grammar mistakes. So before you go to type another passive aggressive tweet about how your boyfriend ate your chicken nuggets, check this list to make sure you're using the right "there."

1. There vs Their vs They're

There = a place

Their = possession

They're = they are. I know, contractions are hard.

2. You're vs Your

You're = you are, being something. I know, more contractions.

Your = owning something.

3. Its vs It's

Its = possession

It's = It is

4. To vs Too

To = describes a destination, recipient or action.

Too = also, as well as.

5. Then vs Than

Then = usually referring to a time or sequence of events.

Than = in comparison to.

Next time you want to call someone out on social media for grammar issues without being "too" (; rude, send them the link to this list.
