5 Of The Healthiest Restaurants In Ttown

The Freshmen 15 can be a real thing and especially in college you don't have a lot of money or time so sometimes its easier to eat a bag of chips, order a pizza, or make some easy mac. But don't freight, I am here to give you some of the healthiest restaurants in Tuscaloosa and most importantly places that won't break your bank. Most of these restaurants are very close to campus or even on campus and most of them accept Bama Cash which can be very helpful.

5. Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is located in Midtown shopping center, which is very close to campus. They provide food that makes people feel great! They are about serving food that has the right balance of health and nutrition benefits. They have 500 calorie options, vegetarian options, and also GF. They serve from refreshing and healthy smoothies, to salads, wraps, and sandwiches.

4. Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

Tazikis's is also in Midtown Shopping Center and features all mediterranean food. It is one of my favorite places that has it all. They have salads, gyros, sandwiches, veggie and meat plates, and even baklava! Make sure you go there on the weekend and get their signature pasta and you won't be disappointed!

3. Juice Bar

The Juice Bar is located in the Shoppes at Legacy Park which is also close to campus. The feature juices, smoothies, juice cleanses, acai bowls and also healthy snacks and salads. All of their items and healthy and delicious, if you ever need a pick me up make sure you stop at the Juice Bar.

2. Fresh Market

Fresh Market is also located in the Shoppes at Legacy Park, its a grocery store, but also a great place if you need to grab a salad, sandwich, or sushi. All of their products are healthy and good for your body.

1. Zoes

Zoes is located right on campus in Bryant Denny Stadium. They feature tons of healthy and yummy foods packed with nutrition. Featuring salads, pizza, sandwiches, roll ups, pizza, and the list goes on and on.
