The best ones are rich, hot, and can keep you up all night. No, I'm not talking about any of the Notre Dame Football players. I'm talking about coffee! We all need that extra pick me up after a long night of studying, hanging out with friends, or watching your favorite show on Netflix. My personal favorite is any kind of mocha but there are plenty of other options. Whether you like your "Cup of Joe" fancy, with cream and sugar, or just strong and dark, this list of best coffees will have you running to the nearest Starbucks.

1. The Americano

If you are drawn to the bitter taste of coffee, The Americano is the best choice. This steamy cup of double expresso and hot water will make sure you are fully awake for your 8 am lecture.

2. The Cappuccino

Caramel, vanilla, hazelnut, toffee nut, or pumpkin spice. With so many flavors to choose from it's hard to decide which yummy brew to choose. A couple pumps of your favorite flavor, expresso, steamed milk and topped off with A LOT of foam, this drink is guaranteed satisfaction.

3. The Mocha

If expresso and hot milk are too bitter and not sweet enough, you'll gravitate toward the tasty Mocha. This hot chocolate based drink, with a shot of expresso, will nip your sweet spot right in the bud.

4. The Latte.

Do you have an addiction to Pumpkin Spice Lattes? I like them a latte. Expresso, steamed milk, no foam, and your flavor of choice will have you smiling as you walk to your next class.

P.S. If you say "Pumpkin Spice Latte" into a mirror three times, a white girl in yoga pants will appear and tell you all her favorite things about fall.

5. Iced Caramel Macchiato

Is hot coffee not really your thing? No problem! The Iced Caramel Macchiato is super refreshing after a long workout or a hot day. Made with milk, caramel, vanilla and coffee, all over a cup of ice. This frosty treat will cool you down fast!

With so many options it's hard to choose a favorite but these are some of America's favorites and if you don't like coffee you can always enjoy a cup of tea, hot or cold.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
