As winter break draws to a close, some of us have been blessed with an extra week of freedom. So whether you’re taking it easy during syllabus week, or still enjoying a little extra you-time, here are five fantastic series to binge watch this week.
1. "The West Wing"
Recommended for you
If you never got into "The West Wing," or were simply too young to understand it when it came out, now is your chance to dive in. This quick-witted political drama, written by the very talented Aaron Sorkin, is incredibly addicting. If you like "Newsroom," you will love this show.
2. "Friends"
Another ‘90s favorite, watching all 10 seasons of "Friends" should definitely be on your college bucket list. This show is jam-packed with quotable moments (and hilarious gifs). You will not be disappointed as you follow these six hilarious friends — Joey, Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, and Phoebe — as they tackle life in the big city.
3. "Fixer Upper"
Do you love beautiful things? So do Chip and Joanna Gaines. A reality TV show without a sickening amount of drama, "Fixer Upper" features an adorable family, beautiful furnishings and a lot of elbow grease. Watch as Chip and JoJo completely remodel dilapidated shacks into gorgeous homes, all on a budget.
4. "New Girl"
A modern day "Friends," Jess and her quirky pals tackle 30-something life in LA and the challenges that come with it. From impromptu musicals to Latvian basketball players, there’s never a dull moment with Jess and the gang. Catch up on all four seasons before Season 5 premiers this month.
5. "Psych"
Get your double dose of Dulé Hill with this USA comedy. Sean Spencer (along with hilarious partner, Burton Guster) uses his hyper-observant skills and photographic memory to aid the Santa Barbara police department in solving crime.
