TV Series Finale

Every time I have a school break, I love to catch up on anything on Netflix. I love to sit back and relax after having many tests and essays to do. Here are some shows to rewatch on this Thanksgiving break:

"Friends"

This 1990s-2000s show has 236 episodes that star Rachel, Ross, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, and Chandler as best friends in New York. They are each other's family and go through break ups and celebrate together. Watch them as they all go through their adventures in life.

"How I Met Your Mother"

"How I Met Your Mother" started in 2005 and ended in 2014. Watch this show as Ted tells his children the story of how he met their mother through his life experiences in flashbacks. Meet his best friends Marshall, Lily, Barney, and Robin as they all hang out at MacLaren's Pub.

" The Office"

"The Office" first aired in 2005 and ended in 2013 and is the American adaptation of "The Office" UK series. In this show, you will meet the Dunder Mifflin staff from a paper company. The show is set in Scranton, Pennsylvania and features Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fisher, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, and many other celebrities, all who make this an awkwardly funny show.

"That '70s Show"

This '70s set show began in 1998 and last aired in 2006. It features six friends, Jackie, Michael, Donna, Fez, Eric, and Hyde who live in Wisconsin. Watch them all sit when they are in the circle, and as they go through their adulthood lives.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
