So it's the holiday season and you're looking for Christmas movies to watch with your family and friends. There are so many I can think of but here are some of the ones I always watch every year. I love Christmas movies, it's part of the traditions that last. Whether it's White Christmas, A Christmas Story or so many others, the list goes on. Christmas movies make you smile almost year round, however, there is nothing better than snuggling up next to the fire place, with a nice big mug of hot chocolate binge watching all your favorite Christmas movies with the people you love.

So if you're drawing a blank on what Christmas movies to watch this holiday season. I hope this list helps you out. Even if you're not much of a Christmas movie watcher, give this list a try and you might find one you like!

1. A Charlie Brown Christmas

I love a Charlie Brown Christmas because it tells the real reason for the season and the kids find life in a small Christmas tree. It's a cute cartoon with real depth to the story. It's a great way to start off the holiday movie season!

2. It's a Wonderful Life

This is a really touching story. It makes me happy every single time. It's a feel-good classic that everyone needs to watch at least once in their life. Real life lessons and a great way to kick off Christmas traditions!!

3. Elf

Now this one may seem like a kid movie but it's really funny and a great movie about holiday joy! It will make you laugh no matter how old you are! So add this one to your set list of movies to watch this Christmas!

4. A Christmas Story

I have seen this movie so many times and each time it gets better and better. It's a classic and one of my absolute favorite Christmas movies. It'll make you laugh and cry and it's just a great film!

5. Frosty the Snowman

Just because this a classic childhood movie. I watch it every single year. You've got to watch this one at least once a year!
