5 Movies Perfect For Movie Night

There's nothing wrong with a movie night. Here are 5 movies guaranteed to make it enjoyable.

1. Dirty Dancing

An absolute classic, full of great lines and dance moves that will make you wish you could actually dance. I am a little biased, this is one of my (if not my #1) favorite movies. Be prepared to become obsessed with Patrick Swayze and sing "I've Had the Time of My Life" with your friends. Nobody puts baby in the corner.

2. Easy A

This movie will have you cracking up throughout the entire thing! If you've had a rough week, it's the perfect movie to watch to make yourself laugh. And I'm sorry, but now you're going to get "Pocketful of Sunshine" stuck in your head now, too.

3. Guardians of the Galaxy (or any Marvel movie, really)

There's something about superhero movies that make for a perfect movie night. Guardians of the Galaxy, one of the more recent films, is unlike any of the other Marvel hits. It's funny and clever and it also has excellent music. Plus, Chris Pratt. What more do I need to say?

4. The Fault In Our Stars

Or maybe you're in the mood for a romance movie or need to cry a little bit, completely understandable. From book to movie, The Fault in Our Stars is probably one of the most romantic yet sad combinations ever. Yet everyone loves it, because the book was good and the movie was almost just as good. Okay? Okay.

5. Mean Girls

It's crazy to say that Mean Girls is becoming a classic, yet it came out back in 2004. It's the perfect slumber party/movie night staple and you know that if someone hasn't seen it, it'll have to be put on. That's like, the rules of feminism.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Blair Waldorf

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
