5 Of Mother Teresa's Most Impactful Quotes

Service allows each individual to prove what type of person he or she has become based on his or her intentions. Mother Teresa gained fame through her own doings and her hunger and thirst for righteousness and peace, on earth. She spreads peace to one another. Mother Teresa strived for the goodness of other humans. Through the following quotes each of us can gain the wisdom and courage to be better individuals, and follow Mother Teresa’s example.

1. Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.

One small step at a time we can make a difference.

2. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.

Make an impact on everyone’s life.

3. Never travel faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Be patient. Everything will happen the way things are supposed to. Everything will fall into place. Do not stress about tomorrow while today is still occurring.

Which leads me to the next quote..

4. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.

The small cracks we step over are just as grand as the major obstacle of the year. Because with each obstacle we overcome, our true strength glistens making an impression on those around us.

My favorite quote from mother Teresa that truly makes a difference in my daily life is "ANYWAY".

5. “People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.”

Mother Teresa truly shows the person God made her by spreading the goodness to those around her and making prayerful service go worldwide. One should use Mother Teresa as an everyday example. She left a legend behind her through her work. Mother Teresa’s work showed her compassion and love to the human kind and has been recognized throughout the works receiving a number of awards including Noble Peace Prize of 1971 for her promotion of international peace and understanding. I personally cherish her words and service because not only does she make an impact on the world but she reminds us that not everyday is going to be perfect but that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to be the best we can be. The start of making a difference is by working at home. By this, I mean through loving and cherishing family. Family will always remain strong if they stick together and work for the greater good of building each other up and reminded one another that no matter what we have each other. Perhaps we are stronger than we think.

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
