I've never been much of video game person. I prefer the simplicity of mobile games. Throughout the years, I've played a lot, so here are a few that you're bound to become obsessed with:
1. Choices: Stories You Play
Choices is an interactive storytelling game, that offers a wide variety of “books” to choose from. Whichever one you select lets you create your own character and immerses you in a new life. Whether that's a college freshman, a detective or a warrior princess is up to you!
No matter what story you choose, Choices gives a compelling, well-written storyline filled with options to make the story unique to you. It also has loads of POC and LGBTQ+ representation, which is just another win in my book. The only criticism I have is that diamonds (the game’s currency) is hard to come by. So you often have to pay money out of your own pocket to unlock special scenes and outfits. However, even if you can't fork over the cash, the game is still super fun to play!
2. Family Guy Freakin Mobile Game
The concept of this game is pretty simple. Peter starts his own beer truck business and travels all over Quahog to sell his drinks. In each level, you play a Candy Crush-esque game to fulfill your customer’s orders and to defeat the bosses. I highly recommend it to Family Guy fans, or to anyone who just wants a game that relieves stress.
3. Unison League
Unison League is a super cute and highly addictive game! You're a soldier who goes on various missions to defeat all kinds of monsters. It's an RPG, so you can pick whether you're an Archer, Mage, Knight, Cleric or Lancer. And from there, you can buy outfits, weapons and even gods to help you become best.
And don't worry, unlike most games, it's not a pay-to-win. It's dependent on strategy and perseverance!
4. Marvel: Contest of Champions
Contest of Champions is an interactive game, where you can play as 200+ heroes. The control system is simple, making it very easy to fight your opponents. Furthermore, the alliance system makes communities and lets you form new friendships (or enemies if you're competitive).
5. My Candy Love
A typical romance game. You play as Sweet Amoris High School’s newest student, where you quickly find yourself as the object of affection for many of the boys!
The storylines are great, and the art is absolutely adorable. However, the only critique of this game is the number of action points they give per day; which is what allows you to move from place to place. The 10-15 points they give is paltry and could make you feel like you didn't do anything productive. But, if you're good at saving points, this could become a non-issue.
I hope you have as much fun playing these games as I do!
