I am a big fan of Twitter for numerous reasons. For one, it's funny! There are videos and tweets that make me laugh out loud. Another reason is that you get to keep up with friends, as well as meet new friends and get new followers. The main reason is because there are tweets that get circulated that are exactly what I need at the time. There are motivational tweets that I read that I add to my favorites list, and going back to read them is perfect at any time. Here are five tweets that motivate me and give me strength at any point, and I'm sure that the person that tweeted it is unaware of the joy it brings me.

1.

This is important to me because as a college student, I am supposed to be extremely smart and extremely ahead of others that didn't go to school. I find that completely false because there are people that didn't get a chance to go to school, but I feel like they are extremely smart. This is based on what they've been through, and I get my wisdom from what I've been through as well. Life is a learning experience in general, so the more you take in, the better off you will be.

2.

This is tough for me! Reading it makes me feel better, mainly because I see it as having two different meanings. "Time waits for no one" is one message, which is self-explanatory. I have to do things and life goes on, whether you are here or not. "Don't think everything is going to happen on your time" means that I am not in charge of everything that occurs. Sometimes things will be out of my control, and I have to embrace that and let things be how they are. That is tough for me, which is why I love this tweet.

3.

This one is a life lesson. I have had many "friendships" that turn sour. Once things turn sour, if that person decides to share confidential information about you to others, that person was never a friend. When things get bad, if that person shows you anything, especially disrespect, out of anger, that's how they really feel about you. Sometimes, I want things to go sour purposefully, so I can see how they really feel.

4.

These are also life lessons. (I decided to put them both together, they have similar meanings to me). Life is hard and a lot of emotions go through your head, heart and body. I try to keep my self busy and love everything about me, making me get filled with positive vibes and not negative ones.

5.

This is one of my favorite quotes! Any problem that you spend over 24 hours stressing/being mad over cannot be solved with the same level of thinking. Change your thinking and change your perspective. It will get better.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
