For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of having your ears blessed by the voice of Christina, do yourself a favor and listen to her latest album, "Head or Heart." I would be ashamed if I didn't tell you that this album is absolutely worth your time. Forget about the fact that I want to frame the cover art because she is drop dead gorgeous, but the album is filled with lyrics anyone could relate to. She writes some beautiful things that can't help but get you right where it matters. So here I've given you the lyrics to some of her best songs. Christina laid it all out and it smacked us in the face like a brick wall.

"I believe that today it's okay to be not OK."

I mean come on--for anyone who has gone through anything ever, they know this means everything. There aren't always times you feel like smiling and saying everything is gonna be alright. Sometimes, as human beings, we need a moment to cry and say without being shamed: "I'm having a freaking moment" and it will be perfectly OK. This is from her song "I Believe."

"A certain type of silence has filled my voice, I scream beneath the water and make no noise."

This song is from "Sea of Lovers." If we are being completely honest with each other then I have to tell you I definitely played this at my turtle's funeral because it's a really freaking sad song. On topic, this song spoke to me because often when I am afraid of saying something dumb or speaking my mind on a tough subject I end up not saying anything at all. To me that type of silence is my fear to speak on my beliefs. Therefore I drown in words unspoken. Deep stuff, thanks Christina.

"I can take so much, till I've had enough."

This is from the well-known song, "Human." This hit me in such a real way. Listening to this song and hearing these words made me realize that it was time for me to stop settling with everything in my life. Not only in an unhealthy relationship that was bleeding me out but in the friendships that took and took and never gave back. This lyric helped me remember that as a human being there is only so much abuse I can take.

"I'm setting fire to the light that I know, Let's start a fire everywhere that we go."

This lyric taught me to leave what is in the past...in the past, and to leave everything I do from here on out in a blaze of glory. This lyric hit me because I always harped on myself when I made mistakes or let someone down but Christina is saying let it go. Let it go and start something brand new. You can't always win, but you can always leave some mark on this world. This is from the song "Burning Gold,"which is my second favorite song on the album.

"I know the scariest part is letting go, let my love be the light that guides you home."

"The Words" is definitely my favorite song on her album. This song shows how pure and special true love is. Love is such a powerful thing. It's enough to bring you out of the darkest of places and emerging as a better human being for it. Love, is the only thing that was strong enough to bring me home, and this song reminds me of that every day.

All of these beautiful songs and more can be found on Christina Perri's Album "Head or Heart" and if these lyrics aren't enough to entice you maybe the beautiful Christina Perri will be just the push you need.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
