If you have never seen "Grey's Anatomy," stop reading right now and go directly to Netflix to binge watch it. This is truly the best show on TV, in my opinion. So much so that it has been proven that people who watch "Grey's Anatomy" are overall better people. It is not just a medical drama TV show, but it is so much more. There are things that can be learned from Grey's Anatomy (and any TV show really) that can be applied to life outside of the show. Here are 5 things that I have learned from Grey's Anatomy.
1. Be great
You can't just be great, you have to believe you are great too and others will believe too.
2. Change is constant
"Sometimes the more things change, the more they stay the same. And sometimes, oh, sometimes change is good. Sometimes change is… everything." — Meredith Grey
3. Never, ever give up
If you want something you have to fight for it. Good things may come to those who wait, but great things always come to those who go out and get them. Don't accept less than what you deserve, demand more, and then stand up for your right to have it!
4. Everyone needs a person
We all need that one "person" who we can count on for anything and who will be there when no one else will. When you find "your person" never let go because you don't know if you'll ever find someone like that ever again. Your "person" is the one who is with you through everything and anything. Whether you're in a relationship or married, your best friend is still there to listen to your problems. They are there for each other through thick and thin, they can rely on each other in the darkest of times. Everybody needs this type of person in their life.
5.When in doubt, dance it out
Don't say anything just shut up and dance. Let all the anger, sadness, frustration, and let it go. enjoy the moment feel the music and maybe the tequila too.
