Halloween is here and its time to bring out the candy and dress up in costumes. But like many people this day could have snuck up on you and now you don't know what to do. Don't worry, here are a few simple costume ideas that can be made using things you already have or by going to your local dollar store.

1. Greaser (50's)

A simple pair of black jeans or blue jeans and a black shirt or tank top will do the trick here. Don't want to wear heels or fancy shoes try on a pair of converse they were super popular back then.

2. Animal

This is one is more for girls, but it's a really simple last minute idea. All you need is a bit of make up to create your animalistic look and the rest is up to you. As long as you have the makeup on fleek, the clothing is the least of your worries.

3. Nerds

This is very simple especially if you wear glasses. A simple pair of khaki pants and a white shirt tend to do the trick but the best part of this costume is everyone has a different interpretation.

4. Scarecrows

Some overalls or jeans with a flannel shirt and straw hat make this costume an easy last minute idea. Don't have cowboy or rain boots? A simple solution would be a pair of sneakers.

5. Athlete

This is more for guys but girls can also pull this off. Put on your favorite team jersey and a corresponding bottom. Don't forget to carry around the ball or equipment to help you look the part.
