5 Job Titles that Every Mom Inherits

Mothers are essential parts of our lives. She is your first sight, your first hug, and you're first I love you. When you are born, not only does she take a vow to take care of your physical being, but she turns into a super hero, working various angles and positions in and throughout your life. Think of her as 5 employees in one - running a (long-hour and expensive) business all on her own.

1. She's the boss.

She is the one who runs the show. She will always have the last say, and deep down, you know that she knows best. She's the most experienced in this profession. She will always makes executive decisions, but keeping in mind what will benefit you the most. Sometimes, you'll think that you've worked for her long enough to call the shots, but just remember that she is (almost) always right. She brought you into this and she can, just as easily, take you out.

2. She's the general manager.
Once you've grown a little, you will be entrusted with more responsibility and the boss will have loosened her grip. However, you will be guided by the gentle, but ever-present hands of the manager. For the most part, you're flying solo, but when you get yourself into a compromising situation or you are just a little lost, she's not too far out of reach and can come save the day, even if that means taking the heat for something you may have done.

3. She's the event planner.
It is likely that you will want to have parties and do things that you do not realize take so much time and effort to actually make happen. She wants everything that you do and plan to go smoothly and be to your benefit. So for your sixteenth birthday party, the cake did not just appear and those guests did not invite themselves. Chances are, she spent countless hours writing and thinking about what you would want and enjoy the most. She spent money she should not have on decorations and invitations. She is the person who works behind the scenes, making everything that you experience happen without notice and sometimes without thanks.

4. She is your co-worker.
This is one of the most important roles that your mom plays in your life. She sees when you are overwhelmed and need an extra hand. She will never watch you sink. She is always there to come take half (or more) of what you're dealing with to keep things easiest on you. She is there to cheer you on and support you in what you're doing. She has dropped all of her other roles of being above or behind you, and she stands beside you; ready to take on everything together.

5. She is your supervisor.
Even when you've moved to a different offices (I mean...college) doesn't mean that she still doesn't worry or care. She, from a distance, will worry and pray for you. She will continue taking on responsibilities and clients that she does not want so that you can be whatever you are learning and becoming, and the best one there ever was. And although she has been promoted to supervisor, she is simultaneously upholding her other duties in hopes that you will continue to develop into the best you that you had ever imagined.

A lot (all) of who you are is thanks to her.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
