There are certain things that we hold dearest to our hearts. We do not realize just how important they are to us until they are temporarily gone. Wither we carry them with us at all times or use them daily, they matter. We may not realize just how important they are to us until they are not readily available. Here are the five things that I would not be able to live without.

1. Floss

Yes, coming in at number one is floss. I could be fresh out of the shower and be smelling like roses. I could be done brushing my teeth and mouth washed. I could be fresh out of the spa and feeling the sass. I could…okay you get it, I feel unclean without my floss. Floss is life.

2. Chap stick/Lipgloss.

My lips have to feel moisturized or I will enter "Panic Mode." I may have three to five chap-sticks laying around waiting to be used, but their time will come.

3. Tacos

Now when I say tacos i'm talking tacos de el carrito (street tacos). I can eat tacos all day. Tacos de Suadero, Tacos de asada; Tacos de cabeza, Tacos de todos!

4. Jalapeños and Tapatio

Seriously I carry a mini bottle of Tapatio in my bag wherever I go! Today's generation is so fortunate that this sauce can be found everywhere now. I remember when I would go to movie theaters with my Tapatio in my bag ready to be sprinkled all over the delicious, buttered popcorn. We are verity fortunate to be able to say that our movie theaters have bars and Tapatio. Jalapeños are right there with Tapatio for me. My nachos would not be what they are without jalapeños.

5. Hair Brush

I get really frustrated when my hair gets tangled up. I have so much hair that it often decides to get in fights with its next door strand, so when I feel a tangle coming in I tackle it with a brush.

These are just a few items that I would not be able to live without. Can you think of things that you can absolutely say you cannot live without? If you can I would love to know- feel free to share with me all the fun things that you cannot live without.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
