iPhones are the daily drivers of approximately 42% of all phone users across the globe. Having been around for 10 years, the next phone in line to be released is the iPhone 8, and here's some information on the "next big thing".
1. No home button
Instead of a home button, the iPhone 8's OLED display will take up 95% of the screen, giving more room for the user to navigate their phone. The home button will be incorporated into the screen instead of being a physical button.
2. Wireless charging
Fumbling around for your charger on the side of your bed at night will no longer be a problem, since the iPhone 8 will most likely incorporate wireless charging in it. The "Galaxy S" line of devices have been using wireless charging for the past 2 years without any issues and now it's Apple's turn to do so.
3. Facial recognition
Facial Recognition will be used as a "password" of sorts. Instead of using the Touch ID feature on your iPhone, you will be able to lift up your phone, look into the camera, and have instant access into your phone.
4. Three versions will be released
Instead of spending the big bucks on the iPhone 8, you will have the option of obtaining the iPhone 7s & 7s+ in the fall.
5. Dual cameras on the back
Similar to the iPhone 7+, the iPhone 8 is rumored to feature a dual camera lens on the phone, allowing owners to use "portrait" mode on their devices.
