We are all human, and there are some days where all of us feel upset. It doesn't matter if you are still in school, college or work, even out of work, everyone feels stress! I get stressed just as a normal human being does, and I have tried many things to "de-stress". Watching YouTube videos, listening to calming music, watching a funny movie, and even taking a long bath! A few years ago while I was just browsing on YouTube, I stumbled on a TED channel! TED is basically a nonprofit that is devoted to spreading new ideas and they hope to inspire people with those stories! I am very happy that I did because I have been watching funny and equally inspiring videos. Here is a list of the top 10 videos that I really enjoyed!

1. I Got 99 Problems, Palsy Is Just One

This is the first video that I saw on TED, and I am so inspired by her. She has cerebral palsy since birth. She never felt bad for herself, or wanted others to feel bad for her. She has such a positive outlook on life and she jokes about all the things that have happened in her life! This video makes me smile and gives me the confidence that I need to do what I need to do!

2. A Teen Just Trying To Figure It Out

Tavi Gevinson is the teen founder of a fashion blog/magazine called Style Rookie. She talks about what makes a powerful woman, powerful. This talk is about her journey into who she is today and how the experiences she has today changes her tomorrow for the better!

3. A Magical Tale (With Augmented Reality)

Marco Tempest is a magician. Not an ordinary magician though, he does magic with multimedia! He is known for his use of interactive technology and computer graphics in his illusions and presentations. He stars in the 8 part television series which is broadcasted in 50 different countries! This video shows us that technology is expanding and can be magical at the same time! (This video is not inspiring or anything like that, it is just a really good watch!)

4. Shake Up Your Story

Raghava KK is a artist and a father of 2 boys. He made a pop-up storybook and serves as the basis of what the talk is all about. This talk is not really inspirational but it gives out a good message about homosexual marriage. Kids these days have a lot of influences surrounding their behaviors and media and books and the main cause. This book shows kids that love can be found anywhere and no matter who your parents love or get married to, they will love you just the same! This is really vital for the younger generations, because they learn what is truly important!

5. Where Does Creativity Hide?

This video was just pure inspiration. No matter what we end up doing in our lives, we have to be creative and like what we do! She tells us that just because we are all humans, it doesn't mean that all of us are the same! Everyone has their unique specialties, but we have to find out who we are. And that is the key to success!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
