Holiday season is the best time of the year for college students. It is for me at least! I look forward to the holiday season all year. And this is why:

1. Food.

Need I say any more? We eat really terrible cafeteria food all semester, and when we do finally try and cook for ourselves, it's usually instant noodles. So what is better than home cooked feasts? Nothing.

2. Family.

We have been stuck in the same room with the same people for way too long. Sometimes all you need is your entire bat-crap crazy family to make you realize how blessed you are for your small dorm room. Just kidding, but really we do look forward to seeing our loved ones, it makes us happy to have such blessings to come home to.

3. Relaxation.

Unless you have super mean and spiteful professors (which is possible) we don't really have to worry about homework or studying. Which means we won't want to spontaneously cry from stress every ten minutes.

4. Sleep.

If there is one thing we are constantly running low on in college is sleep. There is nothing like coming home for the holidays whether it is the teaser thanksgiving break or the long haul hibernation known as Christmas break just to catch some good Z's in our comfy bed at home.

5. Joy.

With this season comes happiness, and it is a really nice refresher to be able to sit and your home and just be happy. Being in college is stressful, and hard, so sometimes a nice break is really all we need.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
