There's always some moving when you're feeling a new song. Your moves could be a bit annoying or you could just freestyle with it and hope your crush across the room sees you going in. Lately, however, I've really taken the time to sit down and analyze that in the hip hop community the amount of new dances are endless. I have a personal few favorites that kept the block lit when I was growing up.
1. Cat Daddy.
Originating in 2011, if you were awkward and couldn't dance like me, after seeing a video of this you now had a go-to move for your nonexistent dance vocabulary.
2. Crank That Soulja Boy.
The dance that shook the world in 2007 and plunged young star Soulja Boy into the spotlight.
3. Headbanging.
Previously being popular in mainly hard rock, it seems headbanging has migrated to branches of hip hop sub genres with mosh pits as well.
4. Foot working.
Create a wild combination of your own stepping movements and impress everyone by stepping on armies of invisible ants.
5. Dab.
It doesn't matter what you do or how you do it, just hit 'em with it.
