5 high school friends you don't talk to anymore

There are friends that you're friends with for the rest of your life, and than there's some that aren't. Friends in high school aren't always permanent. There are friends that we never talk to again after high school and that's okay; that doesn't mean they didn't matter to us. You can probably pick out of a few of the ones you knew back in the old days.

1. The criticizing one

They always criticize everything no matter what. They told you, you would never make money as a english teacher while they want to be a musician. They criticize you since you've known them but you always accepted it once you reached college, you realized you didn't have to.

2. The High School Boyfriend/Girlfriend

They were great to you, you had fun together. But they always saw you staying together after high school and you just didn't. No one was the bad guy in this, you just wanted every different things.

3. The "Rebellious" Friend

They had parties in their basement when their parents were away. They stole one bottle of vodka from their parent's liquor cabinet than invited ten people over. They always talked about how how smart they were but they never showed up to class.

4. The Instigator

You never realized how much trouble they started in high school but they might have been the source of all of it.

5. The Funny/ Mean One

You could never tell if they were joking with you or just being really mean. They kind of hurt your feelings every time you hung out.

You had great times with all of them in high school but when you graduated and said goodbye or slowly faded away. You do enjoy seeing their updates on facebook pop up from time to time.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
