Everyone can agree that drama is more entertaining to watch than to be apart of. Here are some great drama filled shows that you can watch on Netflix to pass by the time.
1. The Fosters
“This offbeat drama charts the ups and downs of an interracial lesbian couple and their multi ethnic brood biological, adopted and foster children.” -(Netflix)
I have been in love with The Fosters since I started watching it. The show has five and a half seasons on Netflix and the season 5B will be airing on Freeform on January 9th. The show discusses real issues in the world such as LGBTQ issues, racial issues, the foster care system, rape, and so much more.
2. Reign
“This vivid historical drama series tells of the rise to power of Mary, Queen of Scots, amid a court of sexual and political intrigue.” -(Netflix)
When I first watched Reign it was by accident. I was waiting for Vampire Diaries to come on and this show came on first. But I am so glad to have stumbled on to this show. Reign keeps me on my toes and never lets up. All 4 seasons can be found on Netflix.
3. Jane The Virgin
“The life of a pious, hardworking Latina woman is turned upside down when a doctor visit reveals she was artificially inseminated by accident.” -(Netflix)
Jane the Virgin was recommended to me by a website that talked about perfect shows to watch for your major. And I wasn’t disappointed, the show is like an American Telenovela but it is not a soap opera.
4. Grey's Anatomy
“Intern (and eventual resident) Meredith Grey finds herself caught up in personal and professional passions with fellow doctors at Seattle hospital.” -(Netflix)
I started Grey’s Anatomy because one of my friends was in love with the show, and I started it so I could see why. It is not just a doctor show, but a doctor show filled with unbelievable heartbreaking drama. You can’t look away once you start. The show has 13 seasons on Netflix and season 14 is currently airing on ABC.
5. Pretty Little Liars
“Rudderless without their missing leader, four formerly tight high school friends band together when a blackmailer threatens to spill their dirt.” (Netflix)
Pretty Little Liars is based on the best selling book series and it is amazing. I have been watching this show since middle school and it kept me in love with it until the end. You try to make guesses on who A is but you never really know. If you need a good mystery show, all 7 seasons are on Netflix.
