Freeform, previously ABC Family, continues the tradition of 25 Days Of Christmas, movie marathon that hits a lot of classics but misses quiet a few. These movies still deserve some recognition and should definitely be added to your 2016 watch list.

1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Excluded from this year's marathon, this movie is an absolute classic. I was so disappointed to see this excluded from this years list. It is hilarious and heartwarming and a Dr. Seuss classic.

2. A Christmas Story

It might be because TBS and TNT play it on a 24 hour loop on Christmas day, but it is still a Christmas classic that needs to be watched. Is it even really Christmas if you don't watch Ralphie shoot his eye out?

3. The Ref

Okay, this is pretty intense for the 25 days of Christmas movie marathon and people can debt if it really is a Christmas movie, but it really truly is. It is hilarious but also shows the value of family and love and the spirit of Christmas.

4. Bad Santa

This really doesn't belong on FreeForm but for the right audience this movie is hilarious and amazing. It's a great way to cheer yourself up after all that family time and getting asked what you are doing with your life 500 times.

5. Krampus

Just released in 2015 this dark comedy/horror movie is perfect for Christmas night to really get you into the spirit of things and show what family really is about.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
