As we close in on our 4th week in quarantine, it can be kind of difficult to see what good could be happening in the world around us. If you are anything like me, I have stopped watching to news all together. This week some good things are happening and I am so here for it.
2. Zoos and aquariums have gone livestream
The Shedd Aquarium, in particular, has a penguin live cam that gives penguin lovers a live look into the ends and outs of their day to day lives.
3. The Ross Barnett Reservoir is open to the public again
While not all boat docks are open, the people of Mississippi can enjoy fishing and outdoor recreation again. Just in time for perfect spring weather.
4. WW2 Veteran raised $22 Million for health care workers
A 99-year-old England resident raised $22 million by walking laps in his yard.
5. A 106 year old woman recovers from Coronavirus
