With all the negative that has been happening, all the blame placing, all the uncertainty, it seems like there really is hardly any joy left. BUT there is, during this time of quarantine people have gone above and beyond in love, and goodness. Here's a collection of good things for this week.

1. Backstreet Boys

This week, the Backstreet Boys sang "I Want It That Way" via a living room concert.

2. John Krasinski

In his truest form, sweet John Krasinski essentially said "I've had enough of negativity" and created Some Good News where he highlighted just that, some good news.

3. The NBA

Remember at the beginning of all this when a bunch of NBA players tested positive for the Coronavirus? Very random, but now that they are better they've decided to donate their plasma for research.

4. News delivery

In New Jersey, one newspaper deliveryman decided he was going to expand his delivery from newspaper to newspaper and needs. He started attaching a note to the newspapers he was delivering to tell everyone his mission and give out his number. No charge.

Germany, yes the country, has not only offered but taken COVID-19 patients out of France in order to help ease the country of France and take care of patients.

Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
