1. Rancho Relaxo
Rancho Relaxo is a farm animal rescue in New Jersey. Founder Caitlyn Cimini shares her love of animals with the world, while saving a variety of animals from abuse, slaughterhouses, and cruel auctions. She lives out her passion daily by caring for any animal that comes her way. Rancho Relaxo's sole mission is to "help every animal we possibly can - whether it be networking or physically bringing them to our farm." Caitlyn also strives to give voices to animals who are victims of violence.
Because she gets extremely attached and feels responsible for each and every soul on her farm, all animals are welcome to live forever at Rancho Relaxo. Donate, buy cool gear (including coloring books), or even support Caitlyn socially to help "save the world together."
2. Goats of Anarchy
Leanne Lauracella rescue for special needs goats, injured or disabled goats that are rehabilitated and will live at the sanctuary as their forever home. Many babies will be kept in her own home e. Animals with the highest need, such as Polly who has vision loss and mental impairments, are kept inside her home until rehabilitated, or even permanently if need be. She wants to connect with and bring people together, whether it be through a cute photo, a funny video, or an inspiring story.
This rescue wouldn't be possible without social media and the huge amount of followers- people who care about these sweet baby goats. Encouraging a community to believe in something worth fighting for is no easy task, but so worth it! Working with goats such as Ansel, Auggie, Pocket, Angel, Opie, and Miles brings peace and stress relief in a messy and hectic world.
Leanne says that there are two main reasons why she founded Goats of Anarchy- to encourage people to follow their dreams. "Things that are are important to you must be done, you just have to do it," she says. "Anything is possible if you want it badly enough."
Secondly, she also wants to promote goats as pets, but in a responsible and caring way. Goats are amazing animals that have personalities and can share close bonds with humans, and they deserve all the love in the world! If you don't remember anything else, remember this: the main message and mission of Goats of Anarchy is to help people find compassion towards animals.

5. The Barnyard Sanctuary
This rescue is a rehabilitation center that also serves animal foster and adoption services. What started as a rehoming agency has now turned into a fully-functional farm animal sanctuary. New Jersey Police and SPCA now bring abused and neglected farm animals to The Barnyard Sanctuary where goats, pigs, horses, sheep and cows are either rehabilitated and adopted our, or live forever at the Barnyard.
There are currently around 700 farm animals living on the Sanctuary, but 3,000 animals have been treated and rehomed since its' conception. With the investment of a 153 "Forever Farm," The Barnyard Sanctuary plans to expand and begin a variety of new programs, such as providing a safe living environment for battered women. When Founding Director Tamala Lester first started this sanctuary, it was just to help local farm animals, but now her mission is so much more!
