According to the NY Post, the world is facing a tequila shortage. There is a shortage of agave throughout the tequila industry that has many producers worried. Because of this, it has caused the price to rise six-fold in the past two years! Now, I don't know about you, but I'm really not feeling like paying an arm and a leg for a shot of tequila or a margarita!

The President of the National Committee for Agave Production in Tequila, Raul Garcia, said,
We don't see that the problem will be resolved soon and that's what worries us.
We are all in for $15 margs and $12 shooters for awhile people, better get prepared.
