Wilson county, Tennessee is located right outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Wilson county has many things to do, including the following:

1. Wilson County Fair

When the Wilson county fair is in town, it gets the whole town talking! The Wilson County Fair has live music, art galleries, food, rides for all ages, and much more!

2. Stardust Drive-In Theatre

The Stardust drive-in has been a local attraction for years! It's a great way to spend time with loved ones. The Stardust is a drive in theatre that plays two movies back to back on the weekends. Kick back in the back of your car, let the trunk open, and enjoy a couple movies!

3. Charlie Daniels Park

Charlie Daniel's park is a family friendly park found in Mt. Juliet! Charlie Daniels park has a large playground, walking trails, gazebos, skate park, and has many other attractions that are held here!

4. Fiddlers Grove Historic Village

Fiddlers Grove Historic Village is located at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, Tennessee. Fiddlers Grove preserves artifacts, buildings, and written documents of Wilson county. Tours are held here to educate people of the history of wilson county.

5. Providence Marketplace


Providence Marketplace is remotely new to Mt. Juliet. Providence Marketplace has many stores to shop at, places to eat, and even has a movie theater! This a great way to spend time with friends and shop for all types of accessories!

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
