5 Free Apps For A Healthier Life

There are so many apps out there, but a few of my favorite that I have are all centered around a healthy lifestyle. Some are about exercise and food logging, and others will help you have a healthy mind. Here are some of my favorite "healthy life" apps I have come across.

1. FitbitUnfortunately, in order to use this app, you have to have a fitbit to register. I highly recommend getting a fitbit, you can find them for relatively cheap on Amazon. This app is great because it not only tracks your steps and exercise, but also tracks your sleep, calories burned, and allows you to track your food and water. You can also challenge friends to fitness challenges.

2. Plant Nanny

I always struggle to drink enough water throughout the day because I always am forgetting. This app is so cute. You get to grow a cute little cartoon plant. Each time you drink your desired amount of water, you log it into the app and your plant gets happy. If you forget to drink water, it will send a reminder. if you keep forgetting to drink water, your plant will die. This app is a fun way to be held responsible for the amount of water you drink!

3. MyFitnessPal

If you don't have a Fitbit, this app is great to track your food intake and log exercise. It will help you stay on track of heathy eating and can help you reach your fitness goals.

4. Happify

This app will help you with stress and anxiety. Happify gives you tips and tricks to deal with any emotion you are feeling and will help you overcome negative feelings through programs and games.

5.Sworkit

Sworkit is an awesome app because it will help you learn new and fun exercises for any ability. It has workouts that require no equipment, and provides videos on how to do each exercise. You can customize a workout based on your abilities and what you wish to achieve.
