Everyone has those foods that they ate growing up. Those foods that you came home to after a long day of school, or that you ate when you were sad or upset to cheer you up. We all may have had different foods or versions of foods, but nonetheless, here is a list of some that bring back great memories.

1. Mother's Frosted Animal Crackers

Target

If you've never had these... I'm sorry but you didn't have a childhood. These aren't like any regular animal crackers - they're covered in pink or white frosting and topped with sprinkles. My friends and I still get giddy over buying these because of all the memories we had eating them as kids.

2. Lunchables

Ah, the classic Lunchables. I'm sure 1 in 5 kids would bring Lunchables to school. While they may not be the healthiest option, they were so much fun to "make your own food" and it was convenient for our parents. Honestly, I might go buy myself one right now – no shame.

3. Ants on a Log

I'm surprised as a kid that I wasn't grossed out eating these. Not only because it was fake ants on a log, but also because it was a combination of celery, peanut butter, and raisins... Regardless, they were tasty and always made for a great afternoon snack!

4. Girl Scout Cookies

I live for Girl Scout Cookies. Every year, my friends and I gear up for the new season and get excited to buy our box of cookies. However, most of this excitement stems from childhood memories – whether we sold them as kids, or bought them from our friends. A large part of my eagerness to buy them is because it has been a tradition since I was a child... plus it helps that they're so delicious!

5. Otterpops / Freeze pops

Otterpops are so iconic. I remember buying a huge box of them from Cosco every summer and my sister and I fighting over who got what color. They bring back so many good memories from summer breaks and I still love them today.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
