5 Feelings You Get While Driving Alone

Bittersweet!

1188

Do you like to drive alone? Yes, no, maybe, sometimes? I usually love to drive, but it really depends on my mood whether or not I like driving alone. Here are my top 7 feelings I believe people feel while driving alone.

(Not in any order)

1.) Upbeat and content

I put these two together because there is just something so nice about driving alone. You calm and collective. You can also listen to the same song 1000 times and nobody will judge you because you are alone!! Don't forget to sing your heart out!

2.) Sad/ Lonely

Again, all of these are based off what moods you are feeling. Sometimes on longer car rides, I get sad because I am alone. Of course, music is great and all, but it's never fun feeling lonely.

3.) Angry

Everybody is a bad driver, except you! At least that's what everybody tends to believe. Turns out, everybody makes mistakes, and some people accept and move on, but some people have awful road rage. This can result in being angry. People cut people off, run red lights, blow stop signs, weave in between cars, go 50 above the speed limit -- just to name a few.

4.) Powerful

Well, what's better than being on an open road, with no other cars? Nothing! You control and operate the road, go fast, just don't get caught!

5.) Like a leader

You're being held to high standards when you're the head car, leading the traffic!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
