With the ever changing plot line and growing popularity of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," fans tend to find community with one another in the insanity and sorrow. Throughout the 13 seasons we've been through more experiences in this TV show than we'll ever go through in real life. Here are 5 things that all Grey's fans can relate to.

1. You've actually considered becoming a doctor.

The characters on the show make 4 years of med school and internship look like a load of fun. Plus, medical school would be a cake walk with all the information you've learned on the show. I'm sure we can all relate to yelling "GIVE THE MAN A CT SCAN" on more than one occasion. Especially one occasion in particular. We all know the one.

2. You're slightly desensitized to death.

Let's face it, Grey's is filled with death and sadness. Not only with the main characters, but even with the every day patients that appear in the episodes. As fans, we've survived shootings, drownings, cancer, divorce, and a plane crash. But apparently not a car accident. Sorry, still bitter.

3. You're very aware that most of the characters are liars.

"The Healing powers of love!" - Derek Shepherd

"I believe that believing we survive is what makes us survive." - Izzie Stephens

"I can't lose you. I won't survive and that's your fault." - Alex Karev

Okay, sure. At this point I'm sure we've all learned to never listen to anyone on this show, because let's face it, they don't know what they're talking about. Especially Derek. OK, I swear I'm done now.

4. You constantly ask yourself why you started watching this show in the first place.

Why did I start this show? Why do I keep watching? Why do I continue putting myself through this emotional rollercoaster? Do I secretly hate myself? At this stage we've probably all asked ourselves if all this pain is worth all the drama. We've all been there. Let it out. We understand.

5. We aspire to have a person like Christina and Meredith.

We all need a friendship like Christina and Meredith. Someone to cry with, work together, dish out relationship advise to, and have dance parties with. Admit it, these ladies have been through thick and thin together. They deserve the title of being each other's 'person'Through thick and thin, we all know that we're likely to never stop watching our favorite characters go through life. Or death. OK, I lied, still salty. Anyway, at least we as fans can all band together to cry and laugh it all out. Shonda Rhimes, what have you done to us all?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
