5 Favorite Miraculous Fan Theories And Head Cannons

As we all anxiously await the arrival of season two, the Miraculous Ladybug fandom is swarming with theories, especially since Zagtoons released the designs of the Peacock and Bee kwamis. Of course, fan theories have always been prevalent in the fandom, but the introduction of Volpina, the origin story, and the new kwami designs have led to an explosion of new theories. And these are just a few of my favorites.

1. Alya gets the Fox Miraculous.

From the origin episodes, it's clear that Alya has had an admiration and obsession with superheroes from the very beginning, and through the Miraculous webisodes we know that she started the Ladyblog as a way to help Ladybug (as well as figure out more about her), so how awesome would it be if she became a superhero? Of course, keeping her identity a secret from her best friend who also happens to have a secret superhero identity might get a little complicated -- and intriguing. Plus, let's take the time to appreciate that she is the hottest character on this show and would look amazing in a superhero costume.

2. Nino finds out Marinette is Ladybug.

No one understands how much I love this head cannon. Does it have a high probability of happening? No. But, it's implications are just too good to ignore. Alya, his girlfriend, wants to know Ladybug's secret identity more than anyone, but Marinette is also a friend. Keeping a secret for someone is hard enough, but we all know how hard keeping a secret from someone--especially if that someone is Alya --can be. And, although he'd be aware of Ladybug's identity, he might still be in the dark about Cat Noir's, a.k.a. his best friend who is in love with Ladybug and also dying to know her identity. I know this head cannon puts Nino in a difficult spot, but make no mistake I still love him.

3. Lila becomes best friends with Marinette while being a sworn enemy of Ladybug.

As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of drama, and so I know a great dramatic scenario when I see one. I mean, how much more ironic could it get? The last thing Volpina says to Ladybug is, "We will never be friends,",and yet she'd unknowingly become close friends with her. Their relationship would literally redefine 'frenemy', and just imagine the battle sequences. Not to mention that Marinette would have to deal with the fact that the girl eating ice cream with her at the sleepover tonight tried to kill her this morning, and try not to hold it against her.

In general, season two should have more Volpina/Lila. Also, let's take a second to appreciate how far this fandom has come from vehemently hating Volpina to harboring some very pro-Volpina attitudes. We've come a long way.

4. Hawkmoth is one of Mrs. Agreste's spurned lovers.

This fan theory doesn't have much traction, but can it? Please? I mean, from the origin episodes, we know Hawkmoth is in love with Mrs. Agreste, and clearly she didn't love him back (unless she did, then her leaving Mr. Agreste has a whole other set of implications). Also, I think the origin episodes makes it pretty clear that Gabriel Agreste is not Hawkmoth, but that they do know of each other. And, after the "Jackaday" episode, Gabriel Agreste also knows that Adrien is Cat Noir. In fact, besides Master Fu, Gabriel Agreste may know the most about Miraculouses, and his shared history with Hawkmoth and Mrs. Agreste is definitely a reason for it.

5. Prince Ali and Nathanael theories.

Some love Chloe theories, others favor Juleka or Rose head cannons, but I'm always on the lookout for Nathanael and Prince Ali theories and head cannons. As far as secondary characters go, beyond the big four (and the love square), these two guys have gotten a lot of attention from the fandom. From theories about them getting their own miraculous to ships to fan art, I love all of it. Personal favorites include the Lila x Nathanael ship, because why not, and giving Nooroo to Ali because #SaveNooroo2k16. Also, I know people want to give the Bee Miraculous to Chloe, but let's not do that -- unless she's going to be a villain; then by all means, do that.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
