5 Of Your Favorite Holiday Treats To Get You In The Christmas Spirit

Now that Thanksgiving is over, we can officially start thinking about Christmas, right???? Just in case you weren't already excited to spread some holiday cheer, here are five Christmas treats sure to get you in the spirit.

1. Candy Canes

These little guys SCREAM Christmas. Nineteen Christmases later, and I still don't know how to eat one without getting my face or hands sticky. It's fine.

2. Ginger Bread Houses

Though, let's all be honest here, ours NEVER look that good unless we use hot glue to put the durn thing together.

3. Hot Chocolate

Boy, oh boy, is that chocolate-y goodness so worth the burnt tongue.

4. These Reese's Christmas tree things

Even though they never quite look like a Christmas tree, there's just something about the tree shaped Reese's that makes it taste better... It's probably just the holiday cheer.

Last but certainly not least...

5. THESE COOKIES SENT FROM HEAVEN

I don't know what they're made of, but I do know that they will bring joy to the grouchiest of Scrooges. Words cannot adequately express how supercalifragilisticexpialidocious these cookies are.

Only 20 days until Christmas!!!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
