Another year, another first day of classes. Everyone is excited and ready to see who is in their classes and what the semester has in store for them. But as every first day goes on, you realize what this semester really holds for you, and it can get emotional.
1. Excitement
With a new notebook, agenda, and pack of pens you are ready for the semester. It is going to be the best one yet, you are prepared and ready for anything.
2.Disbelief
There is no way that you already have projects due in your first two classes. It's syllabus week, we should be looking at the syllabus and leaving early, not getting assigned projects. That's it, I'm getting Punk'd, Where's Ashton?
3. Regret
Why why why did you ever think taking an extra class was a good idea, and all major classes? That just spells disaster. You better start thinking about add/drop and rearranging that schedule if you think you even have a chance.
4. Determination
You know what? No more excuses. You will kick ass this semester. You will get Dean's List and you will make it through without any dropped classes or breakdowns!
5. Acceptance
Well, this is your life for the next few months, time to get used to it. It might not be fun all the time, and it might be hard a lot of the time, but you can do it, and you will make it through the semester.
