Whether you're a breakfast eater or not, we have all found ourselves running late to get to where we need to go. I've often found myself running late for my morning classes, but making a smoothie for breakfast is fast, easy, and yummy. To take time off of preparing them in the morning, something you can do to help with this is to prep the smoothies the night before and it'll be ready to blend for whenever you need it.
All of these recipes have items that can be interchangeable; it's really what you want to make it. Adding ice and water can be optional depending on what consistency you would like. Have fun with these and make your next favorite smoothie!
These are the five easiest smoothies to make if you're running late to class, need a quick pick-me-up, or just want a healthy snack!
Avocado and melon smoothie.
1/2 Ripe avocado
1/2 cup Honeydew melon chunks
Juice from 1/2 of a lime
1/2 cup milk (can be unsweetened almond milk)
1/2 cup fat-free yogurt
1/2 Tbsp. Raw honey.
Mango and avocado smoothie.
1/2 Ripe avocado
1/2 Tbsp minced ginger
1/4 cup fresh or frozen mango
1/6 cup fat-free yogurt
Juice from 1/2 of a lemon
Pinch of Cayenne pepper to taste
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of ice (optional)
Berry and spinach smoothie.
1/2 plain greek yogurt
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup spinach
1/2 cup milk of choice
1 serving of protein powder
Fruity spinach smoothie.
1/2 cup coconut water (plain)
1 cup of chopped pineapple
1/2 cup spinach
1 tbsp chia seed
1/2 cup mango
