Many people get easily distracted, but it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. These people are just as smart, talented, and capable as anyone else, they just tend to have lots of thoughts in their brain all at once. So if you're a scatterbrain, you can probably relate to these 5 situations.
1. Reading
When you're reading a book, especially one that's pretty boring, and your eyes are going over the words, but your brain is busy thinking about something completely different. Now you have to go back and re-read that section!
2. Interruptions
When you're trying to talk or tell a story and someone interrupts you to say something, but by the time they're done, you've completely forgotten what you were going to say.
3. Instructions
Whether you're at sports practice or in a classroom, the coach/teacher will be giving instructions and you think you’re listening, but your brain is actually thinking about something else. Then the instructor finishes and you have no idea what the instructions were. Happens every time!
4. Essays
If you're writing an essay or any writing assignment, you plan out the whole thing and have a great idea for the structure and organization, but if you don't write it down, you get distracted by one idea or paragraph and end up forgetting to say everything else that you were going to say.
5. Shopping
That feeling when you go to Target for one thing like tape, and you get so distracted by the home decor section that you come home with new decor for your entire house, but you completely forgot the tape.
