1. Tarzan
Being different doesn't mean you don't belong.
Stop being so quick to point out the differences in others. If you take the time to get to know someone for who they truly are, you may realize you have more in common than you ever imagined.
2. Peter Pan
Everyone has to grow up, but it's okay to hold on to your imagination.
The real world is scary. Having an imagination can help to escape your responsibilities, and let's be honest, we all need that at times. Peter Pan was the boy who never wanted to grow up. Now looking back, can we blame him?
3. Beauty and the Beast
A beautiful person goes beyond what the eye can see.
Beast was judged for his looks, but his looks didn't define him. Belle was the only person in town who gave him a chance. She fell in love with who Beast was inside. Always get to know someone's heart, looks can be deceiving.
4. Frozen
It doesn't take a Prince Charming to heal a frozen heart.
When Anna sacrifices herself in order to protect Elsa, her heart is frozen and her body freezes over. We hear in the movie "Only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart." This lead us to believe that only a kiss of true love would heal her. We were taken by surprise when Anna's heart was thawed simply by her sister's love. You don't need a significant other to heal your broken heart, true love can be found in so much more.
5. The Lion King
(This movie taught us some of the most important lessons of all.)
You can't change your past, but that doesn't mean you have to dwell in it. Learn from it and move forward.
“Oh yes, the past can hurt. But from the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.” - Rafiki
Never forget who you are.
"Look inside yourself, you are more than what you've become." -Mufasa
& last but not least, Hakuna Matata.
