As millennials, we grew up watching some classic Disney Channel shows like The Suite Life, That's so Raven, Lizzy McGuire, Phil of the Future and Hannah Montana. Since our childhood, all of these shows have been cancelled and replaced with shows to fill the next generation. But when we think back to the shows that shaped our childhood, these 5 are the most common ones that come to mind.
1. Suite Life of Zack & Cody
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody ran on TV from 2005-2008 and told the story of two teenage boys who grew up in a New York Hotel. The show followed them through all of their pranks and hotel shenanigans with their friends.
2. That's So Raven
That's So Raven made its TV debut in 2003 and ran to 2007 and followed the life of Raven Simone who had visions of the future and would live her life around them. As one of my personal favorite shows when growing up, I think it was so popular across our generation because it was such an original show and we thought it was so cool that Raven could see the future.
3. Lizzy McGuire
Lizzy McGuire ran from 2001-2004 and detailed the life of Lizzy and her friends as young teens trying to fit into the cool crowd at school. She also had a cartoon alter ego who represented her feelings.
4. Phil of The Future
Phil of the Future was on TV from 2004-2006 and told the story of Phil and his family who came from the future to live in the present. Although it only ran for two seasons, I think it was so well liked and still remembered today because who doesn't wonder what the future holds in store for all of us.
5. Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana ran from 2006-2011 and told the story of a normal girl living a double life as a pop star. I think this show was so popular among our generation because we found the story line of the show so interesting and thought she was just a normal girl we could all relate to.
