The time has come when the cold weather has hit and you decide it is time to hibernate. Instead of hibernating this year you need to get out and hit these five fitness studios around Connecticut!

1. Rebel Fitness

If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, challenging classes and to get in better shape Rebel is the place for you. Located in Berlin, Connecticut, their classes are a combination of strength training and conditioning and you are guaranteed to be dripping sweat by the end of the class. 2. Gina's Total Fitness

Gina's Total Fitness is located in South Windsor and offers group classes in TRX, Indoor Cycling and Box HIIT. The owner Gina has a personality that will have you instantly motivated the minute you meet her! All of the classes are 45 minutes and are sure to leave you sore the next day! Feeling like you need a little more zen in your life? Head on over to The Yoga Shop- located in West Hartford, Old Saybrook, and South Windsor! Looking for a challenging workout lead by a fierce squad of females? If so, check out Lifer! Located in West Hartford, Lifer offers barre, spin, yoga, cardio-kickboxing and my ultimate favorite- cycle strength, a class that's split into 30 minutes of spinning and 30 minutes of strength training! 5. Saybrook Soul Sweat

The newest addition to the Connecticut fitness scene! Located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut this yoga studio has a variety of yoga classes and a sculpt class intended to help you sculpt and tone your muscles! And the best part about this studio- it has a juice bar! Yes, you read that right- a fresh juice bar!
