We all know that saying "When one door closes, another one opens." Well, CW's backdoor just flew wide open this month with the premiere of Riverdale, an Archie Comics adaptation. A few months ago, CW announced that the legendary Vampire Diaries was ending, however, with one mega show coming to a close the network didn't leave fans in the dust. Make room for yet another binge-worthy TV series, because CW definitely didn't disappoint. Here are the top 5 questions we all have after watching Chapter 1 of Riverdale. Beware of SPOILERS! If you haven't seen it, turn back now!

1) Where is Jason's Body?

The episode begins as we watch two redheaded teenagers, Jason and Cheryl Blossom, going out on the lake all mysterious like. Hours later, we find the girl, Cheryl, soaked with water and crying out that they tipped the boat where she swam to the shore only to find that Jason was nowhere in sight. I'm assuming that when the boat tipped, Jason fell and hit his head and drowned, but where is the body? If you think about it, if the “drowning” happened within a few hours the floating body was sure to emerge somewhere? Well, apparently not! However, what is even weirder is that this chick’s twin brother “drowns” and she is still the Queen-bee wreaking havoc as if nothing happened. Seems a bit fishy to me!

2) What’s the history between Archie and Veronica’s parents?

This is a very good question if you ask me. Veronica, who is the newbie in town after her mom, with limited resources, moved them to her hometown after her husband was caught embezzling from a lot of powerful and rich people and is going through a long trial. Well, the first day back in town, Veronica’s mom visits Archie’s dad, who happens to a childhood friend, and asks for a job. However, given her husband’s reputation, he is forced to say no to the job. What I want to know is how exactly they know each other and what the history is. Another valid question is, where is Archie’s mom?

3) Why do Betty’s parents hate the Blossoms?

Surely it can’t just be because Jason and Betty’s sister were dating? No, like Veronica’s mom and Archie’s dad, there has to be an epic history. However, usually, when a child dies, parents empathize with the grieving parents. Well, not Betty’s, controlling mother. The day Cheryl was found, Betty’s mother said, “I hope in his last moments he suffered.” Yikes! Harsh much? Maybe not. Turns out, Betty’s sister had a mega meltdown when Jason went “missing” and was the institutionalized.

4) How does Jughead fit into the mix?

Now, there is a character named Jughead. Cast out of the main social group, this character seems to be the narrator of the story. However, I want to know why he is cast out. It is hinted that Archie and Jughead used to be best friends but if that were so, then how come Betty doesn’t really associate with Jughead since she is Archie’s best friend? And, if they were friends, why aren’t they friends anymore?

5) Who Shot Jason Blossom?

Turns out “drowning” was not the cause of death of Jason Blossom. He was shot! But who shot him, and why did his sister claim he fell into the water and drowned? Was his sister behind his death? So, so many questions that need answers! I just want to know what Queen-bee Cheryl is hiding and how is Betty’s sister involved? And why didn’t Archie report the gunshot on July 4th? Was it just because of who he was with or he generally feared about getting in trouble?

So many questions that need to be answered. Riverdale airs on CW at 9 p.m.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
