5 College Student Friendly Pieces That Emulate Audrey Hepburn's Style

With finals week in full effect, rolling up to your exams in sweats can be awfully tempting. I, however, am of the mind that a put-together outfit is the recipe to conquer anything that may be on your plate. Audrey Hepburn is one of the most recognizable fashion icons of all time, and her chic style is a cinch to emulate with a few key pieces. See below for easy pieces to throw on and conquer your finals!

1. A Mock Neck Sweater

Sweaters are super easy to throw on with a pair of jeans, making them necessary in college students' wardrobes. This sweater will be cozy and comfortable for class, yet the mock neck detail makes it look stylish and put together.

2. An All-Black Ensemble

Audrey is known for rocking black from head to toe, which is one of her key looks that catapulted her to the status of a fashion icon. You can bring Audrey's classic style to your wardrobe with this jumpsuit. It makes getting dressed that much easier when you roll out of bed in the morning, but no one could tell because you look so stylish!

3. Loafers

Loafers are a vestige of vintage style, but have become trendy again within the last couple of years. Audrey could frequently be seen out and about in these shoes, and this pair would fit right into your footwear arsenal as a comfortable and cute option for running around campus.

4. A Mod Dress

Audrey in a Mod-style dress was one of her key looks in the sixties, and this one is a fun way to spice up your everyday wardrobe! I know, the sweatpants are awfully tempting, but putting on a dress is less work than it seems. You'll feel so much more motivated in class if your outfit is on point.

5. A Small, Structured Bag

Small bags with a lot of structure make a statement but are easy to bring around with you to house your essentials for a night out with the squad. This accessory also reflects quintessential vintage style, so Audrey would most definitely approve. Have a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" moment with this bag!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
