5 Characters Who Should Return On Gotham

Gotham is returning this Monday night with new stories and evolutions of our favorite Batman characters such as The Riddler himself. However, there are characters that have appeared in previous seasons who I would like to see come back for the remainder of season three. Here are the top five characters who should make a return to Gotham.

5. Valerie Vale

The last time we have seen this journalist in Gotham City was when she was shot in the abdomen by Jervis Tetch after Jim has "declared" that he still had feelings for his former fiancee Lee Thompkins. Although she survived the gunshot wound, Vale ended the brief romantic relationship between her and Gordon in the beginning of season three. In my opinion, I would like to see more of Vale because of her ambition when getting the latest in the corrupt city.

4. Renee Montoya & Crispus Allen

Who else remembers these two from the first season of Gotham? Only me? They were first introduced in the first half of season one, investigating the death of the Waynes, along with the "murder" of Oswald Cobblepot by Jim Gordon. However once we found out that Cobblepot was not murdered, these two assisted with Jim fighting the corruption and locating the Waynes' killer. Once the second half of season 1 aired, these two were never heard from again.

3. Silver St. Cloud

You may think that this young girl was an innocent soul in Gotham's second season, but not at first. Silver St. Cloud was originally used as a decoy for Bruce Wayne in order to have her uncle Theo Galavan kill him once and for all. However, she did have a change of heart at the end of the first half of Season Two when she attempted to help Bruce escape from her uncle's clutches. Once Bruce was rescued by Jim Gordon and Theo Galavan "disappeared" for a while, Silver had escaped with Tabitha. The only problem after the battle was that she was never mentioned by anyone in the series again.

2. Harvey Dent

Harvey Dent is one of Gotham's Assistant Direct Attorneys and also has a bit of a split personality. The last time we've seen Harvey Dent was when he was questioning Jim Gordon about the murder of Theo Galavan. Although there were mentions of his name throughout the remainder of the second season, he has not made any appearances after that. I would like to see more of his story told before he transforms into his other persona, which is "Two-Face".

1. Jonathan Crane aka. The Scarecrow

Aside from The Penguin, Riddler, Mad Hatter, and Catwoman, one origin story that was excited to see in season one was Jonathan Crane's, who will become known as the scarecrow. The last time we have seen this character was when he was in the hospital experiencing fearing hallucinations of a scarecrow due to an overdose of a serum created by his father Gerald Crane to no longer feel fear as an emotion. Since now it is the third season, I would like to see what has happened to this young man since the airing of "The Scarecrow".

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.

Fandango

There are a lot of foods in this world, but there is only one dish that stands above the rest: Pizza. If you're close to me or at least know who I am, then you know that I'm totally obsessed with pizza. It's one of my favorite things to eat and I will NEVER turn down a slice, even if it doesn't have my favorite toppings. There isn't a day that goes by where I'm not thinking about pizza. I even sleep with a pizza pillow every night! There are many reasons why pizza stands above all other foods, and here are just a couple reasons why.
