There are quite a few for-profit, cause-based businesses. This means that they're businesses that support another charity or non-profit organization. From saving the elephants to helping people in need, each one of these businesses have their own charities or non-profits that they support, all while selling cute clothes or accessories to people who are willing to give.

A lot of these businesses are popular but not many people know exactly what they are supporting when buying from them, or some people may not know that they could help different causes by buying from these stores.

Here are five stores that you can buy from today to help support different charities.

1. Ivory Ella

Their mission is to save the elephants. They hope that other people will join them in their mission to save the elephants. But they also want to inspire people to 'live like an elephant' with empathy, creativity, strength, and loyalty.

They sell shirts, joggers, sweatshirts, and even t-shirt dresses that have designs inspired by far off places, people, and cultures around the world. They have a list of all of the charities they have donated to on their website, including Save The Elephants and Elephant Crisis Fund.

Their mission is improving lives. With every purchase, TOMS will help a person in need. Their slogan being: One for one.

They have a list of five gifts that they give to people in need. With certain purchases you can help give the gift of shoes, water, sight (with the purchase of sunglasses), safe birth (with the purchase of a bag), and kindness (with the purchase of a backpack). TOMS sells mostly shoes, but also sunglasses, bags, and other apparel.

3. Love Your Melon

Their mission is to give a hat to every child battling cancer in America. They also support non-profit organizations that are fighting against pediatric cancer. At Love Your Melon, 50% of every product sold is given to the non-profit organizations that they support. Here they sell all sorts of hats, like beanies and caps, but also apparel and accessories.

Lokai is a special kind of charity-supporting business. They sell bracelets with one black bead that has mud from the Dead Sea inside of it and one white bead with water from Mt. Everest inside of it. This is to help remind you to have balance in your life.
