Summer is here and although it is the season of romance some people might be experiencing heart breaks. Having a broken heart sucks especially during the summer, here are five songs that speak for broken hearts during this season.

1. Black- Pearl Jam

All the love gone bad

Turned my world to black

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life

I know you'll be a star

In somebody else's sky

"Black" is a song that describes our worst fear: seeing the love of our life happy with another person. This image of a black world comes by knowing that the person who is an relationship with your ex is lucky to have him/her in their life

2. Saved- Khalid

Sometimes I forget that we aren't together

Deep down in my heart, I hope you're doing alright

But from time to time I often think of why you aren't mine...

I'm hoping that you'll say

You're missing me the way I'm missing you

I'll keep your number saved

'Cause I hope one day I'll get the pride to call you

To tell you that I'm finally over you

"Saved" is a song I found myself playing on repeat when I had no other words to express my feelings towards the person who I loved. I feel that many people can relate to this song because all what we do with a broken heart is miss and love the person who broke our hearts and hope to get over them.

3. I Fall Apart- Post Malone

She fooled me twice and it's all my fault, yeah

She cut too deep, now she left me scarred, yeah

Now there's too many thoughts goin' through my brain, yeah

And now I'm takin' these shots like it's novacane, yeah

Post Malone goes deep with his song "I Fall Apart." For many relationships, infidelity is a common reason why couples break up which leaves one with a broken heart. Experiencing infidelity is tough, it can leave someone with trust issues in their next relationship and do things that ease their pain in an unhealthy manner.

4. The Break Up-Murs

And everything I do, it reminds me of you

And everything I see, it reminds me of "we"

And every time I lust, it reminds me of us

Girl, I wanna stay together cause I hate breaking up...

Now I'm thinking Jasmine, Tanya, Cheraine

Some ex's I can call that'll probably ease the pain

"The Break Up" by Murs is a song that explains the process and feelings of breakup such as the constant thoughts of an ex someone has. What I like about this song is that Murs states that he calls up his exes to numb his feelings about his recent ex, a strategy I feel a lot of people do to cope with their broken hearts.

5. Fuck it -Eamon

Fuck what I said it don't mean shit now

Fuck the presents might as well throw em out

Fuck all those kisses they didn't mean jack

Fuck you, you hoe, I don't want you back

The song "Fuck it" is a song we all want to sing out loud after we discover that we don't need our ex and realize that they are shit! I left Eamon's song last because I hope those who are broken hearted right now recover fast and realize that they better without their ex's.

Although you may not have a crush, a significant other, or a broken heart right now these songs will make you have the "feels." Make sure to check them out!

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
