5 Pairs Of Boots Every College Girl Needs, Because The Cold DOES Bother Sane Human Beings

Boot season is right around the corner, so get ready to bid farewell to your beloved sneakers (but hello to your no-longer-chilly ankles). Here are five pairs of boots that won't cost you all that you have, but will still make you look like a million bucks.

1. ASOS DESIGN Attribute Premium Leather Hardware Ankle Boots

With all of their buckles, these boots look badass, but still classy at the same time. Wear them with anything and you'll look put-together and chic, guaranteed!

2. Nasty Gal Good Form Platform Neon Boots

How dope are these boots? They're different and out-there but can still pair well with pretty much anything. The platform coupled with the green stitching will make you look like the edgy cool girl you've always wanted to be. And they're only $36 on Nasty Gall right now!

3. Steven Leandra Block Heel Ankle Booties

I'm obsessed with the color of these boots and how they stray from your oh-so-typical black booties. This grey is the perfect color for fall and winter and there's no way you won't be wearing them all season long. Get them on Amazon now for only $64.50!

4. Topshop HERO Leather White Boots

Every girl needs a pair of white booties, and I think I've found the chicest ones (under $175 too)! The design of this pair is totally unique, but can still be worn with everything your heart desires this season! Get them here.

5. Sol Sana Maxwell Boots

Another pair of white booties you can't go wrong with. I have a pair just like these from Nasty Gal I got last year and to this day I receive compliments on them. Buy these if you want people to tell you all day how cute your boots are! Get them here from Shopbop.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.
