2017 is a time for new beginnings and to try a few new books. These aren't necessarily new to this year but are worth a read to show you a few new perspectives. Books can teach you a lot about love, life, death, and emotions. Books can help you cope and gain life experiences to better your 2017.

1. Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

This books will teach you that is okay to not be okay and that things will get better. It will also teach you to step outside your comfort zone and live.

2. It's Kind Of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzini

Another book that it is okay to not be okay and that it is even more important to reach out for help in times of need.

3. The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks

This book is the perfect example to not give up on love, and that it really does exist even when you have given up on it.

4. If I Stay by Gayle Forman

This book is all about appreciating life and family and not to taken anything for granted and to enjoy the little things in life.

5. Looking For Alaska by John Green

A popular one but it's not a typical love novel, it's about the importance of friendship and being yourself and getting outside of your comfort zone to experience life.
