5 Bible Verses to Live By
Divine Walls

Ever since I was very young, I was brought up Roman Catholic and to believe in our God. My faith has always had a huge impact on my life, and it became even stronger once I made my confirmation. I became interested in the bible, and when reading it, I found various quotes I believe to be beyond inspirational. I now live by these verses each and every day. When I begin to loose touch with myself and my faith, I always find myself remembering them. Below are a few favorites that will hopefully impact and help you the way they do myself:

1. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future.

Proverbs 31:25

This is such a beautiful verse to live by. Always be confident and always have faith in yourself and God, and anything is possible!

2. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Psalm 46:5

God is always there for you, even when no one else is. Pray to him always, and you will feel His presence in your toughest times.

3. If I keep my eyes on God, I won't trip over my own feet.

Psalm 25:15

There are so many ways in life to loose touch with our initial morals and beliefs. If we keep God in our lives, we can keep ourselves, with His help, on the right path.

4. Jesus replied, "You don't understand what I am doing now, but someday you will."

John 13:7

When life feels as if I cannot get any worse, when you feel as if there is nothing left in you, please remember this quote. Things may not be going exactly how you would have imagined, or even how you'd like at all, but someday it'll all work out and all of the struggle will have been worth it.

5. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

God loves us so much, that He sacrificed His only son for our sins. We all need to be a little more selfless in life, and when it comes to showing Him prayer and worship.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
