5 Best Netflix Shows To Watch On A Snowy Day

As most of us know, Netflix has a ton of shows and movies. From dramas to comedies, Netflix has it all. However, the hard part is navigating the website to find the best shows. Whether you are snowed in or just want to have a lazy day in bed.

Here are my top five Neflix shows to start watching:

1. "Prison Break"

I personally never thought this show would be for me. However, upon watching the first episode I could not stop. This intense thriller tells the story of two brothers. One who has been framed for a murder he did not commit and the other, a smart engineer who risks everything to save his brother from execution.

2. "Breaking Bad"

This show tells the story a high school chemistry teacher who learns he has cancer. With a teenage son, a pregnant wife, and expenisve medical bills, Walter White must find a new career, even if that career happens to be illegal.

3. "Gossip Girl"

"Gossip Girl" is an addicting show about the fabulous lives of high class teenagers. This drama is loaded with heartbreaks, scandals, and much more that I won't give away.

4. "Friday Night Lights"

If you are looking for a long TV series to start, this show is for you. "Friday Night Lights" takes place in Texas. Not only does this series show the impotance of family and friends, but it shows it through a sport, football.

5. "Captive"

This Netflix documentary series is thrilling, exciting, and real. This series tells the true stories of everyday citizens and their kidnapping stories.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
