Everyone knows Jenna Marbles. YouTube personality, dog mom, wanna-be "Beau-tuber", and a whole lot more. She's been creating videos and content for over 10 years, and like other personalities that have been creating just as long, we've been able to watch her grow and transform over all these years.

I grew up watching her videos like "What a Guy's ___ Means", "What a Girl's ___ Means", or videos of her impersonating different celebrities. Then, I stopped watching YouTube and didn't revisit the world of subscribing until middle school.

I found Jenna Marbles again and she'd grown up. She didn't lose the witty sense of humor that sparked her popularity in the first place. She evolved.

Now, I look forward to Monday mornings and Wednesday nights for her podcast and weekly videos. I look forward to Julien's vlogs that give you a peek inside their lives. I watched Jenna Marbles be young and crazy, and now I get to see her mature and still live care-free.

So, in honor how much I appreciate her, here are five of my favorite Jenna Marbles videos, in no particular order.

1. "I Give My Boyfriend Acrylic Nails"

This is the video I always come back to. If I need a pick-me-up, this is the video that makes me laugh within the first minute. Julien's transformation the second the nails are on cures my depression for 12 minutes.

2. "Google Deep Dive With Me"

You know the video of Julien not being able to tell the difference between Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, and Sandra Bullock? That's from this video. Besides that debacle, the couple find out all the ways you can use Vegemite, new workout equipment, and the true meaning of vegan.

3. "We Bought A House"

Before the video was released, the couple kept hinting and hinting at something they weren't saying in their videos and all their current stress. Then, the video explained it all with just the title, and the thumbnail picture actually made my heart ache as if I was watching a romance movie.

Besides my personal love for all things domestic (Appliances? Furniture? Decorating? I'm here for it all.), I was just so happy for their happiness.

4. "My Dogs Pick My Makeup"

This one is just adorable. Everyone knows how much Jenna loves her pups, and how much she likes to dabble in some "Beau-tuber" content. What makes this video so fun is that Kermit, Peach, and Marble actually pick out the makeup.

5. "Teaching My Dogs How To Swim"

Okay so, this video makes me heart swell. It actually inspired a friend of mine to get life vests and teach her own dogs how to swim the day after this video came out. All three of her dogs responded so well to the training and surpassed Jenna, Julien, and every viewer's expectations.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
