The mind of Seth MacFarlane is probably more complicated than many people could fully understand, but he and the talented group of people that create each episode of the hit show Family Guy seem to smoothly take his thoughts and throw them down into a hilarious comedy about a New England family. The satirical image of the average household brings forward many issues and conversations happening around the world presently in what viewers see as a sarcastic conversation or a scene so ridiculous but exhibits important topics and comedy in one product.

1. Family Gay (Season 7, Episode 8)

This episode is about proving that being gay is not a choice. The griffins need to make some extra money to cover some unexpected expenses so Peter decides to consent to some medical experiments. On of the experiments is what the show describes as "the gay gene" and it is injected into Peter.

2. Episode 420 (Season 7, Episode 12)

This episode is about how the system is skewed when it comes to drugs, even ones that are less harmful than substances that are legal to consume. Brian and Peter are driving and they have a dead animal in a bag where you can tell that there is a body of some sort and blood on both Peter and Brian. They get pulled over and the police don't actually question the body bag or blood because they are more concerned with the half gram of marijuana sitting on Brian's lap.

3. The Old Man and the Big C (Season 11, Episode 3)

The plot of this episode is about the cure for cancer and that it has been hidden in fear of losing profit if cancer becomes easily treatable. It is completely possible that this is true. the pieces match the puzzle, we all just choose to believe that a person would not risk lives for profit. The episode captures the side effects greed has on the world and shows that it is important to always ask questions. The truth is behind the lies.

4. Road to the North Pole (Season 9, Episode 7)

One of the Christmas episodes of the series and Christmas episodes of most shows are good episodes. This episode is about a journey that Stewie and Brian take to the North Pole with the intention to kill Santa Clause, but when they get there they find an extremely polluted and disease-ridden factory with a lot of sick elves and a sick Santa who wishes to die. Brian and Stewie have a change of heart and work to fulfill Christmas wishes around the world where Santa is not able to grant. This episode shows that there is always a story that the other person doesn't know and it's important to never just to conclusions without knowing all the information.

5. Vestigial Peter (Season 12, Episode2)

This episode handles extremely light topics and is focused on pure comedy. Peter and Lois notice a lump on Peter's neck and go to the doctor to have it extracted. The doctor discovers that it is actually a vestigial twin. They keep the vestigial twin attached for a while and name it Chip. Chip becomes part of the family and makes Peter feel jealous of the new attention that Chip is receiving thus withdrawing some attention from Peter making Peter jealous. For those who have not analyzed the show while watching it, it seems like just another animated comedy but is actually talking about many underlying problems in the world today.
